Avatar: Reckoning?is the officially licensed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) shooter based on?Avatar.?Based on?James Cameron’s hit?2009?movie, Avatar: Reckoning is now set to have a second closed beta test, with one new location being added. The game itself is coming out sometime this year, which might be pretty close to the new Avatar sequel called?Avatar: The Way of Water.
One speculation is the game might be published on the?16th of December, 2022?to coincide with the movie’s release, as a neat little gift to try out after watching it. The game is being developed by?Tencent?and?Archosaur Games,?with?Disney and Lightstorm Entertainment?involved.

How to sign up for the Avatar Reckoning: Second closed beta test
Earlier this year, the game’s developers held a closed beta test exclusively for?Canada. This time around, the countries involved were?Canada and the Philippines. This was announced in the official Discord server for the game, although it was deleted shortly after for undisclosed reasons. However, the announcement clearly stated that recruitment was open for the game’s closed beta in the two locations, which was previously mentioned.

Those located in Canada or the Philippines should probably head over to the?official site?for the game, and register to be eligible for the game’s closed beta. This does not guarantee a chance to play it, since only selected players will get access, while those not located in these regions might have to wait for the?next closed beta, beta, alpha,?or maybe directly for the release.
However, there is a workaround for getting a small chance to play in this closed beta, by using a?VPN?and setting the location to?Canada?or?the Philippines.?Players can create a new email account and register with the VPN switched on.
